Valentine’s Day is recognized worldwide as the Day of love. It evolved steadily from being a cultural event to a commercial festivity. It is the second largest festival celebrated after Christmas in the West. So February 14th is the day to spread the love and exchange affectionate gifts to one another.
It is also widely depicted as the Feast of Saint Valentine, in whose honor the festival is celebrated; and also commercially as the celebration of love and affection.
It is a day of bitter desperation and longing. It's such a wonderful holiday to talk about friendship and kindness, and just plain fun too!
